About
Who We Are
From small beginnings in 2011 Gilmore Church is now ministering to more than 200 people through two services each Sunday. While both services are open to all, and are broadly multicultural, the 5.30 pm service focuses specifically on our Aboriginal and Torres Strait community. Our heart is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples to find a place of belonging, build relationships, realise their potential, demonstrate love in action and affect the world through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Mission
Our mission is to invite people to experience Jesus Christ.
Vision
Our vision is to ignite faith, love and joy in lives through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Values
- Find a place of belonging
- Build relationships, realise their potential
- Demonstrate love in action
Our Team
Our ministers Priestley and Deepa work tirelessly to bring the word of God to the community. They are supported and guided by pastors Ross and Barbara, who bring 50 years’ ministry experience to Gilmore Church. Both couples have a strong passion for prayer that gets results; they preach through the scriptures that give revelation for our destiny; and they give pastoral care that is more than just a Sunday service for the whole family.
